Hey - Amanda here! I am what is known as a “Generalist Photographer” - this means I don’t stick to one genre. I really can and will capture anything and everything! I have found that working in one “niche” or specialty for too long can very easily cause burn out of that industry, so I prefer to keep it very diverse and fresh!

First, navigation. If you already know what type of photography you’re looking for, Services is where to start. You’ll find a complete list of available portfolio sections to peruse! If you don’t see what you’re looking for, Contact is where you can go to email me! Projects includes all of my aliases & side quests - different names for different vibes! You can see the details of each, and determine which general category you might want to look at.

Certain areas of the website are still being created, so “please pardon our dust”. If something isn’t working… assume it’s coming shortly, or maybe getting a facelift. We should all be so lucky!

Bright, bold colors have always been the vibe, a byproduct of 5+ years working in Events & Nightlife. I now bring the same vibes to YOU, the individual! Whatever type of content you need, I promise we’ll have a great time creating it, and an amazing end result!

I enjoy the challenge of knowing how to “do it all” and find, unlike some, that I am not made to hold space for a niche…. I want to do it all, so, that’s what I’m doing! Whatever life throws at you, I’ll be here to capture it for you.

Weddings, Elopements, Engagements, or other Special Occasions, all types of Portraits, as well as Sports, Travel, Local Events, and a few specialty projects! I provide these services where I am needed and am happy to travel to you.

The OG - Bright Light by Amanda Altman

Often impersonated, never equaled - bright light is one of a kind!

Bright Light is the name of Amanda’s original Photo & Video page with her husband & partner Tayler, but it took on a life of it’s own.

“I would estimate that at least 70% of people who know me, only know me as ‘Bright Light’ and have no idea that I even have a first name.” - Amanda

Since 2019, Bright Light has been a known name in the Vegas nightlife scene, working in a multitude of event spaces, nightclubs, restaurants, and eventually on Festival Media teams. After years of working with venues, promoters, artists, and performers - it was time to re-brand and expand!

Bright Light is all you want in a Festival, Nightlife, Concert, and Event Media Team! Focusing on capturing not only the artist, but immersing themselves in the experience in order to capture as much of the crowd and atmosphere as possible ensures that the event gets its story told entirely. Fireworks, Lasers, Pyro, Confetti, and any other Special Effects just make it that much more exciting for everyone, including your media team - and I do love lasers! So bring on the surprises, even the challenges - I’ll be ready to make it all look AMAZING!
